Filled challah bun

Challah is a bread typically found in Jewish cuisine. This recipe uses a hybrid dough, combining sourdough and fresh organic yeast, then egg washed to achieve a high gloss finish. The crumb is rich, soft and fluffy.

The bun is filled with ricotta cheese, slow-roasted baby plum tomatoes with thyme, finished with fresh basil and dusted with semolina.

Sold as an individual bun.
